'What the Hell…?' Round 14 Explained!
As many surmised, this is a picture of God slamming on his drum kit. Another way to look at it is a coronal mass ejection that took place on June13th. It was taken by one of the two Solar Observatories NASA has orbiting our Sun called, The Solar-Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO), which seems to have the purpose of freaking us all out down here on Earth every few months. This high energy cosmic lugie hurtled toward Earth at 3 million miles an hour, and reached our shores on June 16. We were warned that it could short out satellites, interfere with airplanes, and even knock out our power grids, but nothing happened. Praise Allah! The Sun is currently at ‘Solar Maximum’ so this won’t be the last time this sort of thing causes science geeks like me to hold their breath.
For some reason I’m having trouble accessing the Dashboard feature for this site. I have get up early in the morning to shoot some TV, so I will pass out ‘Kewpie Dolls in the Afterlife’, and Jesters Trophies very soon but not now. Sincere apologies.
Are you ready for some more? This one is kind of cool…
